J.G.P. Engineering Group P.A. is a leading engineering firm specializing in the design of safe, efficient and sustainable Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Systems both new and renovated projects. Established in 1972 by Jose Puig Sr. and a committed of engineers, our firm has maintained a policy of ensuring that all projects, regardless of size, are directly overseen by one our Principals. This hands-on approach guarantees prompt and precise responses our clients' needs, leading to the successful completion of every project.
Our Team
Jose G. Puig, P.E.
Jose G. Puig Jr. is the President of our company and a licensed Professional Engineer specializing in mechanical HVAC engineering.

Jose is a dedicated and knowledgeable professional with a strong educational background. He graduated from Ignacio de Loyola High School in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, with a degree in Science. He then pursued his passion for engineering at Rensser Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, earning a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering Jose further honed his expertise in HVAC through a specialized training program at Trane Company, where he focused on air conditioning and refrigeration design. Additionally, he has continued his education with seminars on Life Safety Codes and Fire Sprinkler Systems at the Bell & Gossett-ITTronics Institute.
Hector M. Blasco, P.E.
Hector completed his high school education at St. Brendan High School in Miami, Florida, graduating in June 1983. He pursued higher education at Florida International University, also in Miami, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in May 1994. Additionally, he holds a professional certificate in HVAC Design.

Hector is a registered professional engineer in Florida, licensed under number 56115. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the Association of Cuban Engineers, the Irrigation Association, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, and the Association of Fire Protection Engineers.
Eduardo Garcia
Eduardo Garcia is our Head Plumbing Design Engineer. With years of experience in the plumbing industry, he ensures that all designs meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. His expertise and attention to detail make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Eduardo is a skilled architect with a solid educational foundation. He graduated from high in June 1971, specializing in Mechanical and Architectural Drafting from a technical school in, Cuba. He furthered his studies Central University, where he earned a B.S. Degree in Architecture in June 1979. Eduardo is also an active member of professional societies, including the American Society of Plumbing (ASPE) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
